Sajad Zamir is a Personal Injury Paralegal at Law Lane Solicitors. He represents people injured because of someone else’s negligence: in road traffic accidents, at work, in public places, and in cases involving serious or life-changing harm. He qualified with a First Class LLB from Bucks New University in 2011 and has since built a practice covering the full range of personal injury litigation, from straightforward whiplash claims to high-value multi-track cases in the County Court and High Court.

Clients who regularly instruct Sajad appreciate the fact that he explains what is happening, responds promptly, and keeps the process as straightforward as possible.

Sajad’s Expertise

Road Traffic Accident Claims

Sajad acts for drivers, passengers, cyclists, motorcyclists, and pedestrians. His RTA practice also includes claims involving uninsured drivers and hit-and-run accidents, where the Motor Insurers’ Bureau may be the relevant defendant. He handles cases from initial instruction through to settlement or trial, including multi-track matters with disputed liability or complex quantum.

Employer’s Liability Claims

Workplace injury claims require proof that an employer breached a duty of care or a specific statutory obligation. Sajad advises employees injured through manual handling accidents, machinery failures, falls from height, and other breaches of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974. He engages with insurers, health and safety investigators, and expert witnesses to build the strongest claim possible and achieve the maximum compensation award.

Public Liability Claims

Slips, trips, and falls on commercial or council-owned premises are governed by the Occupiers’ Liability Act 1957 and the Occupiers’ Liability Act 1984. Sajad acts for people injured in shops, car parks, pavements, and other public spaces.

Serious and Catastrophic Injury

High-value claims involving traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, complex orthopaedic injuries, and cases requiring long-term rehabilitation need a highly experienced legal practitioner to manage them. Sajad instructs medical and care experts, and, where necessary, accident reconstruction specialists, working with expert counsel on cases that proceed to trial. He is always on his clients’ side, fighting to obtain compensation for lost income, alongside securing funding for rehabilitation, adapted accommodation, and future care. He is conscious that these are the outcomes that make a practical difference to his clients’ lives.

Fatal Accident Claims

Sajad represents bereaved families in fatal accident and dependency claims. These are among the most challenging types of personal injury cases. Sajad gives them the sensitivity, time, and care they require.

Psychological Injury Claims

Post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, and depression can be as disabling as physical injuries. Sajad has experience in personal injury compensation claims where psychological harm forms part of the claim alongside physical injuries, including cases requiring psychiatric expert evidence and careful management of the claimant’s well-being.

Notable Successes

Sajad acted for a claimant who suffered multiple orthopaedic injuries and a psychological injury after slipping on a wet floor at work. Liability was disputed. The case settled for £200,000 at the Central London County Court before trial, on terms favourable to the claimant.

If you have suffered a similar injury, Law Lane Solicitors’ personal injury team can advise on whether you have a viable claim and what it is likely to be worth.

Clients

Sajad’s clients range from employees hurt in workplace accidents to road users of every kind and people injured in public places. He regularly acts for professionals and self-employed individuals where lost earnings make up a significant part of the claim, as well as family members supporting a seriously injured relative through the process.

The value of a claim does not alter the quality of his advice. A straightforward road traffic matter receives the same attention and compassion as a catastrophic injury case that will run for several years.

How Sajad Works

When a new client contacts Sajad, the initial conversation typically covers what has happened and what needs to happen next. Where rehabilitation or interim support is needed before the claim has resolved, he will leave no stone unturned to arrange it, as he is aware of how much of a difference early rehabilitation can make to his clients’ overall recovery.

Clients receive regular updates throughout their case. If something changes, Sajad explains what it means and clearly sets out the options. His clients are never sent standard letters and left to work things out for themselves. He makes himself available to answer any questions they may have.

Sajad understands Urdu and Punjabi. Clients from South Asian communities are welcome to use either language in their dealings with him.

What Clients Say

“Clients often thank me for keeping them informed throughout the process, explaining complex legal issues in straightforward language, and being approachable whenever they need advice or reassurance.”
